Hôtel Mercure Cholet Centre

The ONLY good thing about this hotel is the location even tho you can also find IBIS BUDGET some 100m away. WE HAD A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE at this hotel. First of all as a family of 4, we booked a SUITE (double bed with sofa bed). Upon our arrival, which is quite late at night around midnight, they gave us a SMALL ROOM. It was a PRIVILEGE ROOM in the corner of first floor near the seafood restaurant. There were people at this restaurant singing and talking quite loud! Even with window close you can still hear them. I rechecked our booking and ask them politely for our suite because we paid for it. At first the staff that night assured us that this room was the best with free beverages and bathrobe. I told them we had toddlers and i didn’t care about those things and wanted what we paid for. A SUITE WITH DOUBLE BED AND SOFA BED. They had no room available. So they gave us two small bed (see pictures). In the morning we all had bad rashes. I had the worst because i slept with tiny night gown. when we saw under our bed sheet, it was a SURPRISE 😦 (see picture) it was dirty black dots like the one with bed bug. We told staff and asked to change room they made a surprise expression like we lied. However when we went to drugstore across the street, their first reaction was “ah so you slept at the hotel”. Second night they told us they MADE AN EXCEPTION and got us a SUITE. Make it sound like we owe them for what we have paid for in the first place. The room was clean and way bigger than the privilege. So if you paid for a SUITE, DO NOT TAKE THEIR PRIVILEGES ROOM. Not worth it.
